Hey readers have you ever been hurt in such a way that you thought you would never let it go...
well here's a little story I'd like to tell...
From a distance i see the shore and i hope she's standing in the same place i left her... i rush to the bow of the boat to see if she was there... I scan the whole shore... run back to my room grab my bag and line up at the gate as the boat docks the shore. As the gate hits the dock i sprint to the shore and damn near falling as i trip over the curb i catch myself with my left hand and stand up straight looking for her... i run from one end of the dock to the other twice trying to make sure i didn't miss a spot... NO this cant be?! She's not her! she said she would be here when i got back i know it's been two years but she was well aware i was coming back today...
(fast forward two years later)
I've been home for 24 months bought a house, got a job, finished school, and still have seen her... she was my heart the only family i had, the one i expected to be there for me and she wasn't... i had spent the last 24 months alone and now i was finally ready to go out and have some fun... i debated long and hard whether to go out cause i knew deep down inside i would see her.
(Flash forward twenty minutes)
Sure enough as soon as i walk in the club there she stands ten feet from me at the bar... i turn around attempting to leave but then i see my reflection in the mirror "don't run like she did" convincing myself to turn around... I stroll across the club through the crowded dance floor and right up to her... Hi nice to see you again...
OK people this is the moment of where we either let our hearts pain go or release it... What would you do?
